This town is my birth place. I live in kummari lova colony during my schooling which is very near to katrol. Here my ancestors constructed the Shivalayam on the katrol hill. Very near to this temple the water from the reservior,Thanda flows from the foot of this temple, which people believe it a sacred river. This is the only river/pond which divides east and visakha district. I love my place very much. One should visit this place to have peace of mind. From NH 5 road it is nearly 1 km.
